They look delicate, but porcelain is deceptively durable.  These bowls are made individually; no two are ever alike.  I use a variety of stains to color the clay before forming it into the vessels you see here; the color permeates the clay.  The leaves were once growing in my (weed) garden.  Glazed on the inside, they are food-safe although most collectors use them for decoration only.  In the proper light the translucency of the material is beautiful.  10" to 12" diameter.
